Dilution Instructions
Please select whether you are diluting this product for professional salon use or for personal use at home.
Key principles
- Use only an approved, sterile pump bottle.
- Use only distilled water. Tap water must not be used.
- Ensure the preparation area is clean and free from contamination risks such as food, cleaning products, and foreign objects.
- Ensure the pump bottle is clean and dry before use.
- Additional stickers may be added to the bottle, but the Prolong Lash label must remain affixed and must never be covered. It contains the ingredient list, Responsible Person address, and relevant precautions.
- Never alter the ratio of concentrate to water. This may result in an unsafe product.

Preparation
Complete all of the following before mixing:
- Wash hands thoroughly.
- Check that all equipment, the working area, and your clothing are clean and free from pet dander, hair, and dust. Tie hair back or wear appropriate protection. If similar activities were carried out prior to preparation, repeat cleaning and clear everything away to prevent cross-contamination.
- Confirm the pump bottle is clean, dry, and free from water traces.
- Confirm the Prolong Lash Cleanser Concentrate is not expired and does not appear or smell off.

Dilution

- Using the measuring jug, measure exactly 20ml of Prolong Lash Cleanser Concentrate. Add to the approved, sterile pump bottle.
- Using the measuring jug, measure exactly 40ml of distilled water. Adjust as necessary before adding to the pump bottle.
- Secure the lid tightly.
- Shake the bottle well to mix the contents.
- Repeat to fill additional pump bottles as required.
- Clean all equipment after use. Replace the cap on the Concentrate bottle and store appropriately.
Important
If any errors are made in measuring the concentrate or water that cannot be corrected, or if any other fluid or object is accidentally introduced into the product, destroy the product immediately. Do not use or supply it.

Labelling
- Affix the Prolong Lash brand sticker to the bottle.
- Affix the supplied mandatory labelling sticker.
- Add the date of filling to the label.

Record keeping
For each batch prepared, record the date of preparation and the batch code of the Cleanser Concentrate used. Maintain these records for traceability purposes.

Storage
- Store the Concentrate and pump bottle packaging in dry, clean conditions at all times. Repackaging into any other container is strictly forbidden.
- When selecting Concentrate for preparation, follow the first-in, first-out rule. Use older stock before newer stock.
- When supplying prepared cleansers to customers, also apply the first-in, first-out rule. Best practice is to prepare cleanser as needed rather than holding diluted stock.

Product release check
Before supplying diluted product to any customer, confirm all of the following:
- No contamination occurred during filling.
- The correct quantities of Concentrate and water were filled into the pump bottle.
- The label showing the ingredient list has been affixed to the bottle.
- The date of filling has been added to the label.
- Records have been kept for traceability.
